The official ceremony for awarding of the first set of subsidy contracts under the First Call for proposals of INTERREG-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Bulgaria – Serbia was held on 24 November 2016 at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Sofia, Bulgaria. The contracts were awarded by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works – Lilyana Pavlova, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works – Denitsa Nikolova and the Assistant Director of the Serbian European Integration Office, Sanda Simic.
In total 33 subsidy contracts were awarded at the ceremony, and in the next few weeks will be concluded 4 contracts more. The total budget of all 37 contracts is 16.9 million Euro.
More than 100 people, including representatives of a variety of organizations such as municipalities, public ones, cultural and educational institutions, NGOs, etc. from both Bulgaria and Serbia, attended the ceremony.
