INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme was adopted by the European Commission

INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme will finance projects related to development of sustainable tourism, youth and environment. The total amount of the Programmes’ budget is 34 102 256 euro.

The First Joint Monitoring Committee meeting under Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme was held on 30th of July, in Sofia. The meeting was chaired by Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and co-chaired by Sanda Simic, Deputy Director of Serbian European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia. Official guest in the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) meeting was Ann–Jasmin Krabatsch, representative of the “Regional and urban policy” Directorate General at the European Commission.

More than 100 representatives of potential beneficiaries took part in the informative seminar "Toplica region as a new member of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA cross-border family 2014-2020". The seminar was held on the 21st of May in Prokuplje, Serbia. Official representatives of the Serbian European Integration Office, Sanda Simic and Kristina Askovic, as well as the mayor of the municipality of Prokuplje, Miroljub Paunovic, took part in the seminar and welcomed all the participants.

Interreg slogan competition is open

Interreg slogan competition

In relation to the celebration of Interreg’s 25th anniversary and the joint Programme branding initiative, INTERACT Programme is now looking for an Interreg slogan to complement the logo which represents what Interreg is all about. The contest is open to all citizens of all ages from EU countries, candidate and potential candidate countries and neighbouring countries are invited to submit their original, catchy slogan depicting cooperation across borders.

Nearly 100 representatives of the potential beneficiaries took part in the information seminar "Vratsa, a new member of the cross-border family of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme". The seminar was opened by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Denitsa Nikolova.

The final meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) for preparation of Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014-2020 took place on the 19th of May 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The JWG session was aimed at finalization and approving of the Programme document.

Final meeting of the Joint Working Group for preparation of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014-2020 will take place on the 19th of August 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The main topic on the agenda will be the Presentation and approval of the Final Draft of the Programme 2014 – 2020 and Presentation of the Ex-ante and SEA findings and conclusions.

Second draft of Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014 – 2020 is now published

In order to be ensured transparency and consistency of the programming process, the first draft of the programme was available for public consultations on the programme web-site and Ministry of Regional Development (Bulgaria) in the period 20-30 June 2014. Contributions from all organisations and citizens interested in the future programme were more than welcome.
