Youth network for sport and health

The project is comprised of activities aiming at promotion of a sustainable recreational lifestyle among the youth through cross-border cooperation (seminars, events), extension of the capacity of the local agents (exploration of their skills and talents) in order be more competitive in the labour market and thus to reach high level of personal and communal realization. It aims to assist for the creation a resilient community, able to cope with challenges of common interest and of possession of the necessary tools for provision of smart, sustainable and effective responses to the issues of regional, national and translational importance.

Activities: Supply of equipment for the modernization of the Sport Hall in Boljevac; Construction activities for improved recreational environment in P.Parchevich school, Chiprovtzi; Research on the presence of sport in the young people’s lives; Organizing a joint seminar „Europe as we (don’t ) know it“; Live responsibly: The benefits of sport (seminar for parents); Campaign Be Healthy - Chiprovtzi; Campaign Be Healthy - Boljevac; Run faster than your fears - marathone;Short movie Our lives, our responsibility; Development of web-based and other communicational (Facebook page, Instagram page) platforms.

Expected results are: Supplied equipment required for active encouragement and support of the recreational life in Boljevac, as well as its diversification in order the needs of the youth to be met adequately; provided stimulative environment for recreational activities of the students where they can improve their skills and feel at ease; solidified position of the school as an educational institution of high standards able to meet the needs of its students.; elaborated Research on the presence of sport in the young people’s lives; provided favorable foundation for the establishment of mutual understanding and dialogue of respect between the participants from both sides of the border;Improved physical spirit and general health condition of the participants, strenghtened social relations, increased desire for self-development;Constucted mechanism for stimulation of the youth’s desire to become more responsible towards themselves and towards the society they are part of.
