Youth networking for economic exchange in the cross-border region

The overall objective of the proposed project is to raise the IT-related skills and knowledge of young people throug establishing a youth network between young people, IT companies and training institutions in order to ensure competitiveness of youngsters on the labor market based on a business-driven trainings.


The project consists of the following major activities: Organization of round table; Development of specific IT training packages for students; Development of specific IT training packages for non-specialists; Delivery of chance_IT trainings for students; Delivery of New beginning trainings to non-specialists; Internship in IT companies;IT business meets the youth workshops.

Results: Since the IT industry is in a shortage of trained young specialists, the proposed project suggests a contemporary paradigm to seize the opportunities and satisfy the market by offering a set of high level trainings and methods to help students and unemployed youngsters in advancing in the IT field. Therefore, 4 IT training packages will be developed; 200 young people will be trained, 8 people will be received for internship by IT companies and 120 youngsters will meet IT companies and discuss job opportunities. And thus will be created a youth network for development in the IT sector.
