INFORMATION CAMPAIGN for applicants under the First Call for concept notes of the Territorial Strategy

The Joint Secretariat of the (Interreg VI-A IPA) Bulgaria  Serbia 2021-2027 Programme announces information days for applicants under the First Call for concept notes that will contribute to the improvement of the regional competitiveness, including in the field of tourism within the Priority 2 "Integrated development of the border region'.

The Call aims to identify concept notes for the development of new integrated regional tourism products, restoration, conservation and exposition of cultural heritage sites, support for natural tourism sites, set-up of natural sites for economic use, investment in tourist support infrastructure and facilities, strengthening the links between natural and cultural sites, including through enhancing the cycling network, road infrastructure and infrastructure at border crossings, training staff at tourism attractions, improving CBC tourism marketing and branding practices.

During the information events, experts from the Joint Secretariat of the Programme will present the following topics:

• General overview of the 1st Call for concept notes under the Territorial Strategy;
• Eligibility of applicants, activities and expenditures;
• Project Maturity Development Plan and Indicative Budget;
• Methodology for identification of concept notes;
• Practical guidelines for application and electronic submission of documents;

Organizations that wish to apply but do not have established partner relationships will have the opportunity to make contact with other interested organizations during a Partner Search Forum to be held during the information campaign.

The information campaign includes the following events:

Information Day - July 12 (Wednesday) 2023, 11:00 a.m. - Conference Hall , Jitomir Hotel, Montana, Bulgaria

Information Day - July 13 (Thursday) 2023, 11:00 a.m. - "Pautalia" Hall, Kyustendil Park Hotel, Kyustendil, Bulgaria

Information Day - July 17 (Monday) 2023, 10:30 a.m.- Hall of the  Zajecar administrative district, Zajecar, Serbia

Information Day - July 19 (Wednesday) 2023, 10:00 a.m. – Hall of the restaurant “Gazela”, city of Pirot, Serbia

Partner Search Forum - July 19 (Wednesday) 2023, 14:00h – Hall of the restaurant “Gazela”, city of Pirot, Serbia 

Pre-registration is mandatory (no participation fee). In order to reach a wider range of candidates, we recommend the registration of 2-3 participants per organisation – preferably experts who will be involved in the preparation and submission of the project proposal. The events on the territory of both countries will be held in the respective languages of the partner countries - Bulgarian and Serbian.
