Heterotopias

The objective of the project proposal is to increase the tourist attractiveness of different cultural and information cores in Botevgrad and Leskovac which will be involved in cross-border interaction and cooperation networks.

Activities: The project forsees the following activities: Exhibition and Socialization of the Clock Tower in Botevgrad, Exterior and technological equipment of a promoting center in Botevgrad, Digitization of a permanent setting for the preservation of cultural heritage for generations, The setting up of an information center for visitors, Creation of lapidarium space, Realization of an Open Air Museum.

Achieved results:

• Reconstructed historical objects: the Clock Tower in Botevgrad and the National Museum of Leskovac;

• Created Open Air Museum and installed outdoor kiosk in Botevgrad;

• Newly created and equipped Lapidarium space in Leskovac with a new permanent setting of 15 exhibits. Created virtual presentation;

• Created Promoting center in Botevgrad and Information center in Leskovac;

• Elaborated interactive application - Virtual dressing-up – for "trying on" different combinations of costumes from the late 19th and early 20th century;

• Elaborated Android game for kids - mobile application "Muzejonica" with creative games;

• Created Virtual reality experience and touch of 3D objects with an audio description using VR glasses;

• Elaborated documentary film about the tourist potential of Botevgrad and Leskovac;

• Elaborated book presenting attractive sites from both municipalities.
