Project summary:

Overall project objective is enhanced capacity of the members of cross-border Association “Soul of the Balkans“ and organization of joint events for better promotion and attracting of new tourists.

Planned project activities are: 1.Study on wine tourists needs and expectations in cross-border region; 2.Capacity building of tour operators and winemakers to better meet market requirements; 3.Wine route Management Workshops; 4.Organization of Cross Border Wine competition „Soul of the Balkans“; 5.Organization of Cross Border Wine Fair in Vidin; 6.Improving wine testing knowledge through exchange of best practices; 7.Elaboration of Manual for introducing internet marketing in wine tourism; 8.Trainings for introducing social media in a wine tourism.

Expected results: R1: Enhanced capacity of the members of cross-border Association “Soul of the Balkans“ R2: Strengthen joint cross border brand “The Soul of the Balkans”, by introducing annual awards “Soul of the Balkan R3. “Soul of the Balkans ” wine route better promoted through offering of improved services and using new informational technologies R4. Organization of joint events for better promotion and attracting of new tourists.
